A PUMPKIN PRAYER
Open my mind so that I can learn about you.
Take away my sins and forgive me for all the wrong things I do.
Open my eyes so that your love I will see
I'm sorry for turning up my nose for all the things you have given for me.
Open my ears so your words I will hear.
Open my mouth so I can tell others you are near.
Let your light shine in all I say and do. Amen
Have a safe and happy hallowe'en.

School has started!
Some of the returning students have forgotten what fun they had during the school year. However it won't take them long to readjust to school life.
The new junior students have had their first day of school. Some have taken to going to school right away. Others are learning to adjust and are learning about their new environment. Every child develops differently. But do realize they will learn to enjoy school. By Christmas they will be singing their hearts out.
The new kindergarten program is up and running. The children are eager learners and are excited about the program and the newly renovated classroom. They like the colours and the wood flooring. If you haven't seen the new room yet, come up to Mrs. Chu's room and check it out.

High Seas Expedition has started!
We're almost finished our expedition and the kids at VBS has had great adventures.
They've hidden from Roman Soldiers. They've boarded a sinking ship and had to swim
to shore. They've seen Paul perform a miracle. Lots of exciting adventures.
So far they've learned these truths. God's Word is true. God's Word is comforting,
and God's word is surprising. We'll find out more about God's Word. Stay tuned.
